How application information is handled
MAXA Capital collects the information needed to evaluate your HELOC request, verify your identity and communicate with you about your application.
Sensitive information
Social Security numbers and dates of birth are encrypted before storage and are not included in email notifications.
Limited access
Application records are available only to authorized MAXA personnel for application review and follow-up.
Information collected
We may collect contact, property, mortgage, income, employment, identity and soft-credit-authorization information that you submit through the application.
How it is used
Information is used to evaluate potential eligibility, verify application details, complete an authorized soft credit inquiry and present available offers. The soft inquiry does not affect your credit score. A hard inquiry is not completed unless you accept an offer and separately authorize the next step.
Sharing
Information may be shared with lending partners, credit-reporting providers, verification providers and service providers as necessary to process your request or as required by law. MAXA Capital does not sell application information for unrelated marketing use.
